As a professionally accredited Executive Coach with a special interest in emotional regulation, stress management and burnout prevention at work, Ashleigh works with leaders and teams to cultivate sustainable workplaces and workforces.

Ashleigh Hayden

The causes of burnout are multi-layered and complex, the results however are obvious and can be devastating both personally and professionally. Not only is it difficult to notice when stress levels are approaching burnout, but organisations can inadvertently exacerbate the experience and there is no straight-forward “cure.” Burnout is a pervasive experience that ultimately costs organisations in employee wellbeing, engagement, and productivity. Yet stress is an inescapable and integral part of every day.

Equipping leaders and teams with the knowledge and tools to effectively manage their own experiences of stress and those around them is an empowering preventative strategy that will help to:

  • improve employee retention, job satisfaction and reduce absenteeism
  • promote employee wellbeing and increase positive contribution to the organisation’s success
  • encourage collaboration, team cohesion and positive conflict resolution
  • enhance cognitive flexibility, critical thinking, improve decision making and problem solving

Coaching Style

Ashleigh’s approach, grounded in evidence-based coaching, neuroscience and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, promotes self-awareness and self-acceptance which by extension improves communication, increases self-belief  and cultivates a resilient mindset. By reframing stress management, promoting self-awareness and self-acceptance, Ashleigh enables her clients to positively influence organisational culture and excel in their roles with confidence.

The impact of Ashleigh’s style extends beyond employee wellbeing; a valuable outcome may be an overwhelmed but effective leader reframing delegation as a strategy. A well thought out delegation strategy would help to manage stress, streamline workloads while simultaneously creating meaningful opportunities for team engagement, motivation and productivity.

Ashleigh takes a compassionate, humanistic and culturally sensitive approach prioritising co-creation, tangible growth, and ethical conduct. This style enables her clients to challenge their thought-patterns and lean into their strengths. Her goal is to align the aspirations of the whole person with stakeholder-led goals of the organisation to drive sustainable organisational change.
