Overview

Leanne has a broad medical, leadership, facilitation and coaching background gained over more than 25 years of working in clinical, corporate and as an external consultant to organisations in Australia, New Zealand and in the APAC region. Leanne has over two decades of hands-on experience in the corporate healthcare industry including pharmaceutical, devices, and consumer.  In her various local and regional leadership roles, Leanne has led small to large teams gaining extensive management experience.  Leanne has championed several Women in Leadership initiatives, with a focus on significant professional and personal life transitions.

Having held several executive board positions over a period of 10 years, Leanne has first-hand knowledge of the significant work pressures of being a senior leader.  Through her personal experience of burnout in her corporate career, Leanne is passionate about increasing awareness of the importance of proactively and deliberately focusing on employee health (mentally, physically and emotionally) and emphasizing that this responsibility lies not only with the individual but at all levels of an organisation. Leanne has experience in coaching executives, managers and teams on how to create a mentally healthy workplace.  Her passion and expertise lies in helping teams gain awareness of how they show up at work when they are stressed and how to effectively implement strategies to ensure sustainable and high performance. 
Leanne is also acutely aware that stress for many is simply a symptom of underlying issues and challenges such as poor team collaboration, ineffective leadership and inconsistently applied self-care strategies. Leanne helps identify the underlying causes and focuses her coaching on addressing these areas. Leanne has worked with a diverse range of clients delivering 1:1 coaching to participants on Leadership and Mentor programs; 1:1 coaching for managing stress (all levels of an organisation). She has also designed and delivered numerous leadership, management and team skills workshops for people leaders and their teams.
